Grace
We believe that salvation is a gift of grace for all who will
receive Christ by faith (Ephesians 2:8-9; John 1:12, Romans
10:9-10). We desire each one to be absolutely sure they are
forgiven, right with God, and ready for heaven (John 5:13).
Growth
We believe that authentic Christianity results in spiritual
growth (Colossians 2:6-7). Communion with God through scripture,
prayer, worship, and small groups are all catalysts for advancing
in love for God and allowing the Holy Spirit to make us more
like Christ (Ephesians 5:1-2).
Small Groups
We believe that small groups represent the nucleus of the
church, where encouragement, accountability, and life change
flourish (Acts 2:42-47, Galatians 6:1-2).
Spiritual Gifts
We believe that God has given each believer a spiritual gift
for the purpose of serving others and building up the body
of Christ (1 Peter 4:10, Ephesians 4:11-16). True fulfillment
in life comes when one's personality, passion, and gifts converge
in a ministry that bears fruit for God (John 15:5-17).
Giving
We believe that God has given us financial resources to further
His purposes (2 Corinthians 9:6-8). Time, treasure, and talents
invested in the work of God will pay eternal dividends (Matthew
6:19-21).
Great Commission Lifestyle
We believe that God has given believers a mission of eternal
significance to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19-20).
(Our purpose is to exalt the Lord Jesus Christ by leading
people at home and abroad to know Him as their all sufficient
Savior and by developing in them a Christ like character so
that they are equipped to be loving and joyfully servants
of God.)
